4Matrix is developed by New Media Learning Ltd, an education consultancy specialising in school improvement, training, and software development. The 4Matrix project began in 2002, built on proven techniques developed through years of working with school leaders.
Our goal is simple: to deliver the most advanced performance data systems for secondary schools and Multi-Academy Trusts. We focus on development over promotion, listening carefully to schools and making their priorities our own.
We may be a small team, but we’re ambitious and driven. Our development is continuous, with new features and improvements released regularly in response to school feedback.

Director
A member of the partnership that originated the 4Matrix concept, Mike runs New Media Learning Ltd, the host company for this project.
Indu
Senior Full Stack Developer
Indu is a specialist in Microsoft Technologies and leads on web developments, including our Multi Academy Trust analytics platform, 4Matrix Fusion.
Chris
Head of Development
Chris joined the 4Matrix project in 2009. Chris directs software developments, managing the evolution of the 4Matrix product range.
Maggie
Technical Support Advisor
Maggie joined the team in 2018. Maggie divides her time as a Data Manager and 4Matrix Technical Support Advisor, assisting with training and events.
Ian
Project Leader
Ian joined us in 2013. He leads on customer support and media-related projects such as web content and training videos.
Karen
Technical Support Advisor
Karen also joined us in 2018. Karen is our key stage 5 expert, dividing her time as an independent Data Specialist and 4Matrix Technical Support Advisor.
Sue
Technical Support Advisor
Sue joined the team in 2015. Sue is an experienced MIS specialist, dividing her time between consultancy work and 4Matrix Technical Support Advisor.

Full Stack Developer
Joel joined us in 2019 as a developer. Joel works with our central team on web and client developments.
James
Technical Support Advisor
James joined the team in 2015. James is our key stage 3 expert, dividing his time as an independent Data Specialist and 4Matrix Technical Support Advisor.
Julie
Technical Support Advisor
Julie joined the team in 2023. Julie divides her time as a school Data Manager and 4Matrix Technical Support Advisor.
Hassan
Full Stack Developer
Hassan joined the team in 2021 as a Full Stack Developer. Hassan works with our central team on web developments, including the 4Matrix Cloud project.
Godwin
Full Stack Developer
Godwin is the newest member of the team, having joined us in 2025. Godwin works with our central team on web developments.
